QUILTING:
Minimum Charge $60
Digital edge to edge quilting is $0.0275/square inch. 
Example:
60”x72” = 4,320 square inches. 4,320 x $0.0275 = $118.80.

All charges subject to sales tax.

Custom Quilting is $0.08 and up depending on design. To discuss the possibility of custom quilting, please reach out to me at stortsmarket@gmail.com. 

BATTING:
As a convenience, I sell batting up to 93” on the longest side. I carry several types, listed below, but can order different sizes and types.
–Quilters Dream Natural 100% Cotton – Select (4 oz. midloft) – $0.44/inch
–Quilters Dream Natural 100% Cotton – Deluxe (6 oz. high loft) – $0.64/inch

–Quilters Dream Wool – $0.60/inch

–Quilters Dream 80/20 – $0.42/inch

Other Options/Special Order:

• For quilts with a side longer than 93”, batting can be ordered.
• Wool, Bamboo, Black and Cotton/Poly Blends are available by special order. Special batting orders will add one week to typical turn-around time.

THREAD:
I use high quality thread in a variety of colors.

PANTOGRAPH DESIGNS:
Click HERE to see available pantograph designs. In addition, there are hundreds of designs available. If you choose a design I do not have, there will be a $5 charge.

SEAMING:
This service is typically offered for quilt backs. Fee schedule as follows:

• $10/one seam (cutting, sewing and ironing)
• $20/two seams (cutting, sewing and ironing)

QUILT PREPARATION SERVICES:
This service includes ironing the quilt and/or trimming threads:

• $15 Ironing
• $30 Trimming threads and Ironing

TRIMMING after QUILTING:
Quilts not trimmed unless requested. Fee will be quoted upon request.

BINDING:
Binding services vary. Binding service calculated by determining total linear inches of quilt.
Example – 60”x72” quilt – 60×2 + 72×2 = 120+144 = 264 linear inches.

Service and fees listed below:
–$10 to make binding (customer provides fabric)
–$0.20/linear inch to attach binding to front of quilt – customer finishes hand sewing binding to the back (includes trimming quilt and final mitered seam)
–$0.25/linear inch to attach and complete binding (includes trimming quilt, attaching binding to back including final mitered seam, and sewing binding down on the front)

SHIPPING and HANDLING:
Shipping is paid by the customer. I typically ship through UPS or USPS (lowest quoted price). Insurance is included up to $100. Pricing for insurance over $100 is as follows:
–$100.01-$300 of insurance for $3.45
–$300.01 – $1.15 per $100 declared

Sharing quilts and quilting is a fun way to build community. I use various forms of social media including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and my website (Stortsmarket.com). I only share pictures of your quilt with your permission.
