My Year with the Innova M24 Longarm Quilting Machine

It has been one year since I set up my Innova 24 longarm quilting machine. I have learned so much and continue to learn. My favorite part though, is receiving and seeing first hand the utilitarian pieces of art made by all kinds of makers. I am so surprised and happy to discover how much I enjoy getting to work with other people’s quilts. It is truly a bonus in this venture. Some of these quilts are mine, but most are not. Many makers have shared their stories about these quilts. Here are some details: many are WIPs, some are gifts, some are for personal use, many of these quilts represent the first time someone has trusted a longarm quilter (thank you!), and at least one of these is a recovery quilt. I don’t mean to be too sentimental, however it is hard to not be when you think of the human part of these quilts. I’ve had one on one conversations with all of these makers. Those conversations mean so much to me! Thanks for being a part of this journey.

Miniature quilts that showcase pattern and density.

Texture, texture, texture.
